The game started with pouring rain and the Amazons choosing to receive. The crowd were wild with anticipation of the newly arrived Viper Queens.
Early on Tony the Werewolf stuns a blocker!Disaster strikes for the linewoman as she takes herself down with the Zombie but at least he’s KO’dThe wraith takes down the thrower who thought she could sneak past of the left hand sideHornbill KO’s the JaguarThe thrower fails a 1 die on the wraith, and El Graucho realises his coaching was way off in his decision
The first half ends 0-0, despite the pressure the Bits of bob hold strong.

Hornbill also suffered although he battled on.
Amazons down to 5 against 7 players.
The ghoul is stunned after positioning himself to be blocked but the ball is dropped unhelpfully into an open space.The Jaguar fails on a 2 die block against a zombie. Skulls!Revenge as a lineman is KO’d by the Jaguar
El Golfo tries to sneak in a dodgy regeneration roll which is noticed by El Graucho as “not in the rules” and the roll is reluctantly squashed.
It looks like it’s going to be a 0-0 draw but the Vipers try one last Girls Own attempt to score.
Last turn – what will happen? Can there be a touchdown?A blitz is required to clear the way for the Jaguar to get to the endzone…2 rushes and she’s in positionThe linewoman jumps up and dashes to pick up the ball. Unbelievable play! Simply unbelievable! That goes into the hall of fame as a play.
The end brings out the ladies dancing on the pitch (calm down El Golfo!) as the Vipers beat the Bits of Bob 1-0 in a nail-biter.
The next game is Viper Queens vs Fangs for the memories. Due to fading light the game is played in a rush so the ladies don’t have time to change.

Good weather as the teams run out to set up, with the sneaky refs get a pay-off by both teams to get a bribe each.
Typical start of picking up the ball and rolling a 1.The Vipers boosted by the last game, step it up and target the thralls. He gets to the endzone and waves the ball at the Vipers but the showing off is his downfall, literally, as the turfmonster gets him.A jaguar KO’s another thrall. The throw manages to pick the ball up from beside the thrower and dodge out to relative safety.The thrower manages to push himself out of the endzoneThe ladies attempt to dazzle the Varg by surrounding it.Feeling cocky the Jaguar attempts a 2 die block to push the thrower into the crowd but he’s not having any of it. Jag down!The Varg is in his own world as he’s lost his shit as he pushes a linewoman into the crowd.The thrower joins in by injuring anotherBut it’s too little too late as the Amazon thrower strolls into the endzone.
2-0 to the Vipers in an enthralling game… or should that be de-thralling game…ha ha.
It was a good pair of games.

The new team on the block was the big reveal at the Tottenham Court Road games workshop…
Amazons were the surprise choice. A big change especially after he had stated that the team had dwarves in it !
El C was thinking more along the lines of Chorfs and Centaurs!!
The rolls were made and the first semi final from the pool groups (amazons, tomb kings, skaven and renegades)

Better known as Crystal Malice v Viper Queens.
El G was keen to point out that this was the ladies first game and that their paint job was only half finished!
I never trust big guys !! El G relished in an early fail for Malcolm as he screamed at the bar making the bar maid run for cover. The quiet atmosphere suited the nerds in their corner 🙂
The renegades quickly gathered the ball but couldn’t hold of it as the queens stormed in to disrupt with their pumped up calves!
But wait what’s this ? One-armed Bob shows tremendous skill to catch the ball, even though it isn’t shaped like a pint! He was on his way to star player status.
Inspired by Bob, Malcolm gets up and running to support him.
The amazons cause carnage , making the ball bounce around like a poga stick.
But even the ladies have trouble controlling the ball and it’s soon back on the floor.
Gobbo tries to steal it but falls over d’oh. Unlike the coaches , Gobbo isn’t drinking the 0% Guinness!!
Malcolm storms over the ball and keeps going, taking the ladies with him, Orco can only watch in disbelief
